  • Episode begins with Naruto taking a picture for his Ninja Registration Form while dressed up in clown makeup*

Genzo: Hey, you! Are you sure you want to look like that? Naruto: Yes, of course! C’mon! So hurry, hurry! Genzo: Don’t regret it later. Say cheese!

  • Genzo takes a picture of Naruto*
  • Scene changes to Naruto sitting in a room before Hiruzen and another Shinobi, while Hiruzen looks at Naruto’s Ninja Registration Form*

Naruto: *laughs* Hiruzen: Hmm. Naruto: I couldn’t decide on how to look. It took me 3 hours to decide. But as you can see, it’s more like a work of art. Doesn’t it look great? Hiruzen: Take it over. Naruto: What?! Hiruzen: Take it over. Naruto: Stop saying that! Henge!

  • Naruto transforms himself into a taller, naked, female version of himself within a cloud of smoke*

Naruto: Oh please, Lord Hokage…

  • Hiruzen suffers a nosebleed and falls to the ground in shock. Konohamaru approaches the door to the room.*

Hiruzen: The Oiroke no Jutsu…that’s quite a devious technique. Naruto: *laughs* Hiruzen: By the way Naruto, where’s your headband? Naruto: I won’t wear it until the orientation. It might get scratched. Hiruzen: Well, that’s just fine. But the Ninja Registration Form is a very important document held in high regard by our village. Why do you want to look like this? Naruto: Because! Anyway, how should I know about all that stuff?

  • Konohamaru brandishes a shuriken. Hiruzen and Naruto suddenly look towards the door of the room, before Konohamaru quickly opens it and enters*

Konohamaru: Old man! Get ready to fight!

  • Konohamaru runs towards Hiruzen*

Naruto: Huh? Konohamaru: I am going to be the Fifth Hokage!

  • Konohamaru trips on his scarf and falls face first into the ground*

Konohamaru: Ouch! Hiruzen (Thinking): If it’s not one thing, it’s another…

  • Ebisu enters the room*

Konohamaru: Drat! Is this a trap? Ebisu: Are you okay, Honorable Grandson? May I just inform you that there aren’t any traps here… Naruto (Thinking): Huh? What’s with this runt? Konohamaru: Huh? Ebisu (Thinking): I know this kid…he’s that Kyubi boy! He’s a good for nothing scoundrel! Konohamaru: You must have done this to me!

  • Naruto grabs Konohamaru by the scarf*

Naruto: You tripped all by yourself, stupid! Ebisu: Hey! Let go of him! He is the honorable grandson of the Third Hokage! Konohamaru (Thinking): He stopped as soon as he learned who I am…heh! He’s like my four-eyed teacher. He’s just like everyone else. Konohamaru: What’s the matter? Weren’t you gonna hit me, huh? Can’t do it ‘cuz I’m the Hokage’s grandson, eh? Naruto: As if I care! Imbecile!

  • Naruto punches Konohamaru over the head, knocking him to the ground, unconscious*

Konohamaru (Thinking): This guy… Ebisu: What?! Hiruzen (Thinking): Good grief…

  • Scene changes to after Konohamaru wakes up*

Ebisu: Listen to me. You are the honorable grandson of the Third Hokage. Even though that scoundrel hit you, you must not associate with his kind. Nothing good will come of your tangling with him. This is your distinguished teacher Ebisu, and I am never wrong about these things! Don’t you want to become the Fifth Hokage? Then allow me to teach you Ninjutsu, so that your dream will become a reality. That’s right. Stick with me and you will gain a shortcut towards becoming the Fifth Hokage. Is that clear, honorable grandson?

  • Ebisu turns to Konohamaru to find that he had left the room while he was talking*

Ebisu: He’s gone! Hiruzen: It seems he’s gone after Naruto. Ebisu: Oh no! This is terrible!

  • Ebisu runs after Konohamaru*

Ebisu: Honorable grandson! Hiruzen (Thinking): How did he become like this? That was the 20th sneak attack today. And now he’s in the company of Naruto. I’m a bit worried. I just hope he doesn’t pick up more foolishness.

  • Scene changes to Naruto walking through the streets of Konoha. Konohamaru tails Naruto from afar. Naruto notices and turns around. Konohamaru covers himself with a tan cloth, but leaves his feet exposed. Naruto walks away as Konohamaru gets up and continues tailing him.*

Naruto: Stop following me! What is it now?!

  • Konohamaru stands against a fence and covers himself with a cloth that matched the pattern of the fence, though holding the cloth so that the pattern was in the wrong direction*

Naruto: Your camouflage is pathetic. Konohamaru: *laughs* You’ve seen through my disguise. Your reputation is well earned. I will allow you to make me your apprentice. Naruto: Heh? Konohamaru: But you must first teach me that Oiroke no Jutsu you used to beat Grandpa Hokage. Naruto: You gotta be kidding. Konohamaru: I beg you to say yes, boss! Naruto: Huh? Boss? Konohamaru: Boss! Boss! Boss! Naruto: I guess I have no choice.

  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru walking through the village*

Naruto: Listen. In order to become a skilled ninja, you must first learn to control your Chatora. Konohamaru: Chatora?

  • Konohamaru imagines a cat*

Naruto: Yes, Chatora. Konohamaru: Boss, I think you mean Chakra. Naruto: Eh! Silence! That’s what real ninjas call it! Konohamaru: Oh! I didn’t know that! Naruto (Thinking): Whew…I’m glad he’s a fool. Naruto: Listen. Chakra essentially means… Konohamaru: Basically, it is the energy needed in order to use Jutsu. Naruto: Huh? Konohamaru: In other words, fundamentally Ninjutsu combine the Chakra, the physical energy accumulated from each cell in the body with spiritual energy intensified through training and experience. The combined energy is summoned with certain hand signs. Naruto: You made me think you knew all that, when you were just reading from a scroll! Much has been said about perfecting the ninja Jutsu, but it really boils down to just one thing. Konohamaru: And what is that? Naruto: Hard work and guts. Konohamaru: Hard work and guts? Naruto: That’s right. So be ready for the challenging tasks I will give you. Konohamaru: Yes, boss! Naruto: Good. Let’s start right now. Transform for me. Konohamaru: Huh? Naruto: Let me see first how much you already know. Konohamaru: But what do I transform into? Naruto: Huh? Umm…oh. Okay, first, transform into that lady. Konohamaru: An easy task, boss. Henge!

  • Konohamaru transformed himself into a fatter and uglier version of a nearby woman, within a puff of smoke*

Konohamaru: Well, do I look like her? Naruto: Uh…well, the clothes do and…

  • The woman appears behind Naruto*

Woman: And what’s so similar about that?!

  • The woman punches Naruto off-screen*

Woman: Honorable grandson. If you will transform into me, at least try to look a little cuter, okay? Konohamaru: She’s scary! Naruto: Why am I the one who gets hit?

  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru entering a magazine store*

Naruto: Okay! Next, we’ll do some research on sexiness! Konohamaru: Yes, boss!

  • Naruto and Konohamaru enter the store and began looking at a magazine with scantily clad women. The shopkeeper appears behind them holding a duster*

Shopkeeper: I told you I don’t allow reading here, Naruto!

  • The shopkeeper hits Naruto with the duster off-screen, bruising his eye*
  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru in front of a women’s bathhouse*

Naruto: This is the last test. Put all of your effort into it! Konohamaru: Yes, boss! Naruto and Konohamaru: Henge!

  • Naruto transforms into a female version of himself, and Konohamaru transforms into a chubbier and uglier, female version of himself, within clouds of smoke. Naruto and Konohamaru enter the women’s bathhouse*

Women: Aah! Naruto! It’s you again!

  • The women beat up Naruto off-screen*
  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru talking in a forest*

Naruto: Why is it always me…? Konohamaru: Sorry. Naruto: Huh? Konohamaru: It’s because I’m the Hokage’s grandson. Naruto: Don’t worry about it. Konohamaru: Huh? Naruto: You’re now ready to perform the Oiroke no Jutsu. You just need more practice. Konohamaru: Yes, boss! Naruto: Okay, keep in mind…the point is for “boom boom boom”! Now do it! Konohamaru: Yes, boss! Henge!

  • Konohamaru transforms into an older, fat and ugly, female version of himself, within a cloud of smoke*

Konohamaru: What do you think? Naruto: That won’t do! More slender. Konohamaru: Yes, boss!

  • Konohamaru transforms off-screen*

Konohamaru: Is this okay? Naruto: Not yet. More attractive. Konohamaru: Yes boss!

  • Konohamaru transforms off-screen*

Konohamaru: How about now?

  • Scene changes to Ebisu standing atop the Hokage Monument looking for Konohamaru and Naruto*

Ebisu: That Naruto…what is he teaching the honorable grandson? Where the hell could they be? I am a distinguished teacher training potential Hokage. All those who interfere will be eliminated.

  • Ebisu jumps into the air, vanishing in a blur*
  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru in a forest, next to a set of vending machines*

Naruto: You know I’ve been wondering…you seem obsessed with beating your Grandpa Hokage. Konohamaru: My name is Konohamaru. It was grandpa who gave me that name. He named me after our village. It should be easy for everyone here to remember. But nobody ever calls me by that name. When they see me, all they see is the grandson of Lord Hokage. No one sees me for who I really am. I can’t stand it anymore. That’s why…that’s why I want the title of Lord Hokage now. Naruto: Idiot…who do you think will accept you, huh? Konohamaru: Huh? Naruto: You won’t win the title that easily, you know. Konohamaru: What?! Naruto: It’s not that simple. If you’re really serious about gaining the title of Lord Hokage… Konohamaru: What?! Naruto: You’ll have to beat me first!

  • Scene changes to Hiruzen standing on the rooftop of his office*

Iruka: Lord Hokage! I’ve been looking for you.

  • Iruka appears out of thin air, behind Hiruzen*

Hiruzen: Iruka. Iruka: Did Naruto re-submit his Ninja Registration Form? Hiruzen: Yes. Iruka: When I lectured to him the other night at the ramen stand, he said he will make everyone accept him now that he’s a ninja. He’s been happy since then. Hiruzen: It might not be easy for Naruto to realize that dream. Iruka: Huh? Hiruzen: As you well know, only the villagers who fought the Kyubi 12 years ago know that the monster is sealed inside Naruto. I ruled that no one should speak about that incident. I have severely punished those who have broken this rule. Now our children know nothing about it. That is the only positive development for Naruto. Before the Fourth Hokage trapped the monster and died, his last wish was for the villagers to regard Naruto as a hero. Iruka: A hero? Hiruzen: The Fourth Hokage sealed the monster into the navel of a newborn baby whose umbilical cord had just been cut. As the receptacle for the Kyubi, Naruto saved the village. Unfortunately, the other villagers don’t see him like that. Some even say that Naruto is the Kyubi himself. Little by little, that attitude has been passed down to their own children. Iruka. Do you know? Iruka: What, sir? Hiruzen: When someone is hated and people refuse to accept his existence, he sees it in the eyes of the people around him.

  • Scene changes to Ebisu jumping from tree to tree through a forest, before finding Naruto and Konohamaru*

Ebisu: I have found you! Naruto and Konohamaru: Huh? Ebisu (Thinking): Hmm! That Demon Fox. Naruto (Thinking): That cold look! It’s always like that!

  • Ebisu jumps to the ground from the tree branch he was standing on *

Ebisu: Honorable grandson, we have to go now. Konohamaru: No way! I want to beat grandpa right now so I can win the title of Lord Hokage! Don’t get in my way! Ebisu: A Hokage must first know about virtue, honor, etiquette, wisdom, loyalty, faith, judgement, obedience and all that. He must be skilled at more than a thousand Jutsu...and then… Konohamaru: Henge!

  • Konohamaru releases a current of Chakra around his body, before transforming into an older, naked, female version of himself, within a cloud of smoke*

Konohamaru: Take this! Oiroke no Jutsu! Ebisu: Aah!

  • Konohamaru reverts to himself within a puff of smoke*

Konohamaru: What? It didn’t work! Ebisu: What kind of a disgraceful Jutsu is that?! I am a gentleman! Such vulgar attacks will never work on me!

  • Ebisu pulls on Konohamaru’s scarf while he resists*

Ebisu: Honorable grandson! That rascal will only make you an imbecile! Stick with me and…you will gain a shortcut towards becoming the Fifth Hokage. C’mon, let’s go! Konohamaru: No way! Naruto: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!

  • Naruto creates dozens of exact, physical copies of himself in front of Ebisu*

Konohamaru: Wow! Fantastic! Ebisu: Hmph! That’s nothing. I am a distinguished teacher. I am not as weak as Mizuki.

  • Hiruzen watches the events between Naruto, Konohamaru, and Ebisu unfold through a crystal ball*

Konohamaru: Boss… Naruto and his Kage Bunshin: Henge!

  • Naruto transformed himself and all of his Kage Bunshin into older, naked, female versions of himself, within clouds of smoke. Naruto then had all of them brush against Ebisu.*

Naruto: Oh, Master Ebisu… Ebisu: Aah!

  • Ebisu suffered a nosebleed before launching himself backwards into the air and falling unconscious. Naruto transforms himself back to normal and dispels his Kage Bunshin, within a cloud of smoke*

Naruto: I call it the Harem no Jutsu! Hiruzen: He combined the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu with his own Oiroke no Jutsu. That’s another devious attack. I probably won’t even survive that one.

  • Scene changes to Naruto and Konohamaru in a forest, at sunset*

Konohamaru: I can’t even beat that four-eyed teacher of mine! I want the title of Lord Hokage so badly! I want to be recognized by everybody! But I keep failing! Naruto: You think it’s that easy? Konohamaru: Huh? Naruto: It’s given only to the greatest ninja in the village. Everybody must learn to believe in you. I’ve been through a lot already. It’s been one struggle after another. But after all that, I found someone who accepts me. I had to through a lot…just for one person. You had better push yourself. Konohamaru: For what? Naruto: The path of getting the title, Lord Hokage, is a brutal one. There’s no such thing as a shortcut.

  • Konohamaru thinks back to Naruto’s earlier words*

Naruto: If you’re really serious about attaining the title of Lord Hokage, you’ll have to beat me first.

  • Scene changes back to the present*

Konohamaru: Hmph! Who do you think you are, lecturing me like that? I won’t be your apprentice anymore. From now on, you’re my rival. *smiles* Naruto: Heh! Unfortunately for you, tomorrow I graduate from the Ninja Academy. Still, I’ll consider you an equal someday when we fight for the title of Lord Hokage. Let’s look forward to that, Konohamaru. Hiruzen (Thinking): You still have a long way to go to become a real ninja.
